To ensure the highest quality printed product, please follow our specifications when creating graphic art files.

Accepted Programs

Files can be submitted in the following programs:

• Adobe Illustrator CS3
• Adobe Acrobat (PDF)
• Adobe Indesign CS3
• Plato 7
• Quark 6.5

Please note we currently do not have CS4, so please down save files to CS3.

Preferred File Formats

• Illustrator ai or eps
• High Resolution PDF
• Indesign files with fonts and links supplied
• Press Ready 1 bit tiff layer

File Specifications

IMPORTANT, Please ensure all fonts are outlined before files are supplied. Fonts within a job can change if this is not done.

All images embedded in the document should be a minimum resolution of 300dpi.

Bleed

Please ensure all bleed is correctly set to a minimum of 5mm.

Barcode

• Barcode should be no smaller than 80%.
• Set barcode colour to darkest colour on job.
• A white box should be used below bars.
• JayPak Cartons will create the barcode if needed, please supply barcode numbers.

Die

The die (carton design) will be supplied as an Illustrator eps.

Please keep the die on a separate layer.

Proofing Requirements

Composite colour laser proof as guide and colour separated lasers for each colour in the file.

Proofing And Colour Matching

PMS colours must be noted on proof to allow us to colour match.

Preferred File Delivery

• Finished PDF Files can be sent by email
• Collected Artwork Files to be delivered on CD
• Upload using a free Web FTP site called www.yousendit.com
